Professional Experience
Don is a well-known business consultant and leader for crafting the requisite strategic vision to achieve business goals. I offer a unique blend of executive acumen, global team-building and as an advisor and business consultant. Don is a dynamic, results-producing professional with an exceptional background in strategic business planning. Having served as a CEO, COO, Managing Principal, Advisor, and Senior VP of Business Development, I facilitated a high rate for business expansion, recruiting during a period of industry talent shortages and taking a key role in company acquisitions. My work in centralizing and standardizing systems produced stable, highly available support to others. I have consulted a variety of businesses including but not limited to: Real Estate, Tele-Medicine Platforms, Medical Groups, CPA Firms, Broker Dealers, Manufactures, and Entrepreneurs. I have developed, recommended, and lead tailored action and project management plans with specific measurements and target goals for success.

With a reputation for judicious use of resources and resulting cost containment Don has trained and mentored advisors and sales representatives on a variety of advanced specialized topics including: sales training, business development, internet, database, business diversity status and opportunities, management reporting capabilities critical to the success of production systems and company performance, identify areas for organizational business improvement, recommend personalized action plans for best practices and specific measurements, financial and business planning. In addition, Don is proficient with the North American Free Trade Agreement (N.A.F.T.A.), having spent four years in the establishment and oversight of operations and product importation form a “Mequiladora’s” – or Mexican Corporations.

With a focus on strategic solutions analysis to further business goals, Don has also shepherded cost accounting improvements that brought a new perspective on the relative success of business management practices and capital expenditures. Leading a massive centralization effort, I have also moved companies from internally managed services to outstanding relationships, with improved systems performance and a minimum cost savings. Don has worked and managed daily operations and have directly managed corporate business development, Real Estate Transactions, mergers and acquisition, human resources, legal compliance as Managing Principal for a Broker/Dealer, recruiting and development of leaders for a sales force. I have analyzed demographics and marketing opportunities for a variety of different market segments and have developed Sales and Practice Management systems.

Michael T Lafferty
VP Corporate Compliance

Michael T. Lafferty, JD, Managing Principal and Investment Advisor Representative: Mike was born in Royal Oak, Michigan in 1966.  He has a BS from Michigan State University (1988), and a JD from Thomas Cooley Law School (1992).  Michael began his career as a civil litigation attorney in 1992, before moving on to complex estate and financial planning issues involving both domestic and offshore asset preservation strategies.  He has represented individuals and businesses on a variety of issues, and has served as General Counsel for several small and mid-size companies.  He has been a financial planner and an investment advisor since 1997 and currently maintains a part-time legal practice for a select number of clients.  

Michael is very active in community affairs, having served on the Board of Directors for several non-profit organizations.  He also teaches business law, finance, and constitutional law, as an adjunct professor at the University of Phoenix.

iPlanforit Inc. is a Real Estate Broker and provides Business Consulting. Fees are based upon the agreement entered and service rendered. Please review applicable agreement.

Donald Miller under his own name also provides insurance services. David Donsing is a California licensed real estate broker and as such transacts both real estate transactions and lending services under separate entities.  Donald E. Miller and David Donsing may receive commissions for acting on behalf of a principal to a real estate transaction. Because of various regulatory and licensing requirements, the services that related or affiliated persons of iPlanforit Inc. may offer, are offered and operated independently of each other. You are under no obligation to utilize any of our services. We are also under no obligation to provide any service(s) without a signed agreement stating specifically which service(s) will be provided.
